Finalists will present their business plans on December 5th and a panel of judges and will choose the winners.  Students, teachers, sponsors, business advisors, family and friends are invited to attend the event.  First Prize College Division will receive $1,000  and First Prize High School Division will receive $500.   The deadline for business plan entries is Monday, November 30th.  Judges will score on creativity, research, clear explanations of products and services, and realistic financial plans for each business.

Business Clinics - Resources, Counseling and Training for Young Entrepreneurs

Free Business Clinics are offered to assist students in entering the Business Plan Competition.  Students will receive practical, hands-on training from NVC California Certified Small Business Advisors.  Clinics begin Wednesday, October 28 from 5-8 pm and continue weekly on Wednesdays, November 4, 11 and 18 and December 2.  They will be held at the Napa SBDC Office, 1556 first Street, Suite 103 in Napa.
